Google on Wednesday gave the planet a peek at its vision for letting people take a look at life through Internet-tinted glasses.
A relevant video posted with a Project Glass page at Google+ social media confirmed the rumor how the technology titan is taking care of eyewear that meshes the internet with the real life.
"We think technology should do the job -- be there when it's needed and get from the way once you don't," individuals the project team said inside a Google+ post.
"A number of us from Google X (Labs) started Project Glass to create this kind of technology; one which helps you explore and share your world."
Images showed people wearing eyeglasses with stylish silver frames that featured tiny cameras and on-lens displays to discretely show information including walking directions, weather forecasts or messages from friends.
Built-in microphones let wearers command the Internet-linked glasses by speaking.
"We took several design photos to exhibit what fractional treatments could appear to be and made a video to indicate what it might allow you to do," Google said, stressing how the glasses were an idea far from being taken to market.
"We're sharing these details now because you want to start a conversation and study from your valuable input."
The project team invited visitors to express tips for the glasses on the Google+ page.
