Ludovic Masciave - Survive After A 20 ton Boulder Crashed Onto The Roof Of His Car

Ludovic Masciave, 36, was driving his car over the Arly Gorge inside the French Alps every time a 20 ton boulder crashed on the roof of his vehicle. Amazingly, Masciave survived the crash and it is recovering in a very local hospital, as outlined by Landov.

"I remember the impact in the rock," Masciave told French newspaper Le Parisien. "I'd been driving slowly at between 40 and 50 kilometres [25 to 31 miles] one hour when suddenly there is a terrible shock which brought your vehicle to a sudden halt. I immediately lost consciousness."
Analyzing the photo, it's almost impossible to visualize how Masciave escaped in the vehicle alive. Your entire vehicle appears smashed beneath the weight with the 20 ton rock. The Daily Mail reports how the vehicle was damaged that rescue workers couldn't even determine the model and make of Masciave's vehicle. Naturally, they assumed the motive force didn't survive. And yet he lived, despite injuries offering flattened lungs and lots of broken ribs.

Fortunately, Masciave is predicted to make a full recovery. According to him he offers to sue a nearby government because of not removing the boulder earlier. He was flown to some local hospital in Albertville, France where he could be still scheduled to pass through several operations prior to being released.

"The space was very restricted. It can be measured in centimeters," Masciave told Le Parisien, speaking about the inside of the vehicle. "All I was thinking of was stopping the anguish. When firefighters could actually open the threshold I was finally relieved of the large pressure in the rock."
